My question is how do I give up my rights as a Dominican Citizen? Any help I can get with websites that I can print out documented information would be nice...thanks for anyones help.

Congratulations on becoming an American citizen, and it's great to hear that you really want to be one, to the point of giving up your previous citizenship. You're exactly the type of immigrant America needs.
USUALLY (tho Dominican law may differ) you can only give up nationality OUTSIDE of that nation; i.e. you can't do it from within the D.R., so you'll have to do it in the U.S. It will need to be done in a D.R. consulate or the D.C. Embassy -- normally it's a formal process whereby you sign a legal statement of your intentions, and give up your old passport. That said, generally the more "Third World" a country is, the harder it is to get this done (or any bureaucratic procedure!). Some countries do not actually permit you to expatriate yourself. So, really, your next stop should be the D.R. Embassy, or a consulate.
