Hi i came to canadian from a visa free country but i have a boyfriend in America who is a citizen.
Is there a way i could enter U.S to visit him whiles on canadian visit visa?
Aslo if we ever decide to get married, would it be possible and what do i need to do ?

Why don't you just marry your boyfriend in his country? The US is such a pain in the butt for this kind of thing. Believe me, because I have been researching this stuff like crazy, because I am wanting to marry my Korean boyfriend soon. That fiance visa is such a pain and such a bother. My Korean friend married her American fiance in Korea. She told me that fiance visa was way too much of a bother to do. Do you want to be separated from your fiance for months and months??? I sure don't. Yoru fiance won't even be allowed to visit you once you file that fiance visa application. So, once you file that application, you are screwed. Say hello to months of separation. But the US sure does love those illegal Mexicans. Don't even get me started on that. |

If you entered Canada visa free then it is quite possible to enter the US too. That is if your passport is from one of the visa waiver countries. Now getting married is another matter. Of course you can get married BUT you will have to return to your country while your petition is being processed. This will have to be initiated by your bf in the US. Or you can wait for him to petition you as a fiancee then come to the US to get married within 90 days of your arrival. Then you can stay while papers will be adjusted to LPR. All these have processing times reaching 12 months. |

The U.S. is one of the worst countries for allowing that kind of thing. It would be better to have your American friend meet you in Canada. Getting Married is definitely possible. You need a fiance visa. |
