Overseas medical insurance to get french visa?

Hello everyone.

I'm planning to go to france in september 2008.
I have a french friend who is inviting me. So ill easily get a sponsor letter.
The problem is the medical insurance. On the website of the french consulate, for required documents was written this:

overseas medical insurance (including medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation amounting to a minimum of 30 000 Euros or equivalent)

30 000 euros is too much. I can never get such an amout of money. Nor my friend in france.

So what r the solutions for this insurance? In any case, i can never pay those 30 000 euros.

this requirment is mandatory for any schengen country. so you have to take overseas medical policy for france visa.
yu can contact any travel agent for this insurance
