hi,
Right now i am in america on a J1 visa ,which will expire in december. But as i did not work with the same company i was suppose to, my status in america is now illegal. My i-94 is still ok.
In this case i think i have overstayed in ameica but now i am planning to get a work visa fo america. So will there be any problem in getting a canadian visa, will they contact the american counsalate. And is it possible that i can apply for canadian visa from usa, as right now i am in america.
i would highly appericiate all your answrs and help

Canadians frown on visa overstayers, visa fraud, etc. Do not try to get a visa to Canada, and do not try to cross the border and return to the US. Immigration will arrest you on the spot and deport you. You need to return home pronto. Visa fraud is a major felony -- and that is exactly what you have done by working for another company than the one which obtained the J1 visa for you. Your I-94 and J1 became invalid the moment you left the company which applied for the J1. You belong in jail, and you will be permanently barred from re-entry to the US as a criminal alien. |
