Paper work done during an F-1 visa interviewing.?

in an F-1 visa interviewing, one is made to submit once DS 156,157,158 about 2 hrs before one is even interviewed, what is the reason for this?do they make checks or fon people to verify things before you even start talking? How investigative is the consulate or the consular officers?Do they always do their checkings first?what is the meaning of the administration work that they say they do,what is generally done this time?what are the things the consular officer wants to find from the student b4 granting him the F-1 visa? How does the american f-1 visa looks like ?What are some things that is in/on a students f-1 visa in his/her passport?any website i may check on to see how the F-1 visa look like?

Mostly, they take the forms in to make sure you've filled out everything completely and that you have everything you're supposed to have. They'd rather take up your time than waste the officer's time plus everyone else in line behind you also applying for a visa. Depends on where you are how much actual investigating is done. But you can be sure, if they have some reason to doubt what they see, they'll look into it further, or just say no altogether.  As for what constitutes administrative processing, it depends on the situation, the term is a catch all for whatever more needs to be done. Among the things they want to know is whether or not you speak English sufficiently to do university work and what you're studying and why.

George as covered all of your questions concerning the actual process so I won't repeat what as already been said as he is spot on.

In regards to the visa itself, it will look similar to the one in the link below with the following differences:

- In place of 'Immigrant visa', 'IV case number' 'Registration number' and 'IV category' it will simply state a 'control number' and 'visa type/class' which will be 'R' and 'F1'

- An F1 visa will not state your birthplace or marital status but instead will have a heading 'entries' which determines how many time you may enter the U.S. with this visa. If there is no limited on the number of entries it will simply have the letter 'M' under the heading which stands for 'multiple'

- Under the heading 'Annotation' will be your SEVIS number and the institution which you will attend for your studies.

From this and your other questions, it sounds like you are looking for ways to provide the "right" answers to your clients who are seeking visas to the US. I hope nobody feels the need to assist you in this endeavor. The bottom line is that if visa applicants have a legitimate reason to go to the US, have the financial means to do so, and are able to demonstrate a willingness to obey all of the visa requirements, the likelihood is that a visa will be issued.

Also, if you had a legitimate need to know what a US visa looks like, there are legitimate sources of examples - not the Internet. This all sounds very fishy.
