Hi,
I need to apply PP for my child (through Tatkal), currently i am away from India and i already got the sworn affadavit from Indian Embassy. Can you throw your opinion, is it worth apply PP through agent rather than applying directly. For agent they would be having seperate login, currently it takes more than 3 weeks to get appointment for filing application. If we apply direclty (through online), can we get immediatly (for appointment) for we too wait for 3 weeks. Can you throw opinion on this? Since i need my child PP urgently your help would be appreciated.

You can apply for the passport through an agent or directly with the Department of Foreign Affairs or Embassy.

Its better to apply urself or somebody on ur behalf rather than applying through an agent as agent will charge more money , in ur case u need passport for ur child through TATKAL service so no PCC-police clearing certificate is required so just fill the form ur self and attach a copy of guardiance passport and submit it in ur local passport office along with birth certificate of ur kid and thats it - dont worry do it ur self and save money - dont go to agents they will spoil u
