Ok, so I just received a People to People Student Ambassador invitation in the mail today. And I was wondering if anyone went, how was it like? And how much money did it cost? I hear it costs a lot of money. o_o

And it says I'm traveling to England, France, and Italy. If that info was needed at all....

Ok so i actually went the summer before my sophomore year(now i'm a junior), my trip was similar to the one that you are looking into, only i went to france italy and greece.
The trip was $5499 for me and it was a twenty-one day trip.
Three of those days were spent with a family in france with two other members of my delegation(although the country in which that happens varies). And Italy was the most amazing place ever, When in venice, we went on a gondola ride and we went on a scavenger hunt in rome. And OH MY GOSH we went rappelling down a castle wall in Assisi.
And in france we went to versailles and we got free time so a few friends and i went paddle boating in the beautiful man made lake there. Of course paris was amazing, between the eiffel and the louvre, we couldn't go wrong... however it does rain lightly in paris so prepare for that. I have been to england but not with ptp so i'm not sure what that'll be like but london and liverpool are nothing short of amazing (i'm biased on liverpool due to my obsession with the beatles).
The friends you make on this trip are lasting i went with a delegation in washington....and now i moved to vegas and three of my best friends on the planet live in washington and went on that trip with me....due to the bond we've made over the trip, no distance can hinder our friendship.
Although the trip is pricey, colleges love it and you make lifelong bonds and it is totally worth it
