Possible to two residencies?

Hi, I live in Kuwait and I applied at company in Dubai and this company processing work permit for me to work in Dubai, my question is, Is it possible to hold two residencies one in Kuwait and other one Dubai or in Dubai they will ask me to cancel my residency in Kuwait?.. Thanks

There will be no problems related to having 2 residences. It happens all of the time since many stars of movies and music have 2 houses, one in LA and sometimes London or NY. No country can cancel the visa or residence visa of another country so if you apply to the UAE, they have no power to cancel your right of residence in Kuwait. They might reject your claim for residence in Dubai but not Kuwait.

You should no worry about the issue of residence because you can hold 2 residences, or more, because of your work or studies and so you will just need to make sure you are following the laws and rules. A big issue are the tax laws and as long as you are following the, you will have no problems. I myself have permanent residence in Russia and Canada and I am a citizen of the US and it is because of the business and work that I do that I have apartments in 3 countries and so it is easy for me to move between them without having to worry about applying for a visa every time I go somewhere.

is your usual residence in Kuwait?
no one can ask you to cancel your residency in Kuwait,and it makes sense that once you are in Dubai? you cannot be in Kuwait as well.
