Once you have paid the non-refundable application fee and made an appointment for your interview, you should print out the details of your appointment to take with you to show at the front gate of the embassy/consulate. |

You can't have appointment without submitting your visa application . The US embassy sending you an appointment letter once they have available schedule for your interview.
Don't get confuse DS-156 is different form, you can fill up it now. You have to pay these form in their designated bank in your country.
DS-156 Form is a form for you to fill up.
Appointment letter is a very formal letter from US embassy or Consulate same as business letter format. |

Hello, I need your help on this problem. I scheduled an interview for my three daughters online. I successfully processed everything and received the appointment letter online. When I tried to open the appointment letters for my two daughters, I was able to open them easily. However, for my other daughter, I can't open it (since the document is protected) by a unique password. I am very certain that I used the correct password because I only used the same password for all three of them. I tried to open the other document more than 25 times already and would not really open. I know, one cannot go inside the US embassy without the appointment letter. What shall I do? Been trying to call the embassy and I guess my phonebill is soaring high now but the lines are always busy. PLEASE HELP ME. |

i applied for interview appointment with USA EMBASSY at delhi. the date has been fixed. i could down load one appointment lettter, however when i tried to open second appointment letter for my wife, i was unable to open the same. i have put password more than 25 times, but not able to open the pdf file. Any one can help me how to get the password again or appointment letter. |
