My son is applying for a Visa to live in America via the embassy in London next week he as had to supply a great deal of information and also attend a previous medical.

He intends to marry a girl from the USA.

The interview in London could take between 2-4 hours.

Why so long and if all goes well how long before he hear's a final out come.

My son was born in the UK will this help.

The interview well only take a few mins They well tell him on the spot unless they want more info But what type of visa is he applying for ? If it's just a visitor visa and he tells them he wants to marry a U S citizen he well not get it But if he has already filed his I 130 and he has all the docs they need no problem If approved he well get his visa in about a week after the interview Don't worry mom/dad we well watch out for him
