The UN continually demonstrates that it is inept when handling "peace keeping", it is corrupt from the lowest bureaucrat to the top level, it is biased against Israel, and it is greedy. All that it will do with larger teeth is take bigger bites from the wallets of Americans and Europeans to spend on Manhattan parties for UN staffers and throw at corrupt Third World governments who enrich themselves at the expense of their people. |

The US finances the lions share of the UN's budget but is constantly criticised by the UN. I believe we should leave the UN and use some of that money for border security, which is a joke in itself. |

United Nations is not a supranational organization like the EU which can control its members.
among these nations are too many interest play in there. not to mention that every country has a national interest, and none of them want to decrease their interest for an organization like UN.

The UN wouldn't know what to do with "larger teeth" if they had them. The UN has become a corrupt and largely useless entity. Hopefully the new head of the UN will change that. |
