Any theories on why Berlosconi was having such a rough spring this year. I mean one of his aids was killed by "Left wing terrorists", he was having all those panic attacks, and then boom he decided to step down, all looked pretty fishy.?

I thought that one of his people were killed by the US soldiers,who in turn also tryed to kill a journalist that had been released. If you do some deep research, you will see that he was part of the problem into what is happening today. Guess he got his just reward......that's Karma..................................

actually he took a hiatus before the elections for some reason. I do remember he was having nervous breakdowns for one reason or another dont really know if it was connected.

He didn't decide to step down; his party lost a narrow election, and he earned a lot of criticism for disparaging the election itself rather than accepting a clear -- though close -- defeat. He's basically "mobster-in-chief" over there, and he has recently been indicted on corruption charges -- although the Italian criminal justice system is infamous for never actually convicting anyone. I'm not sure you're really clear on all the facts surrounding Berlusconi, which may be why some things don't seem to make sense to you right now.
