South African married to a u.k. citizen has UK visa but wants to go to Europe?

im a southafrican with a uk working holiday visa and im looking to go away with husband who is british. Do i need a visa to travel to europe?

You need a Schengen visa, but you should be able to get one without charge on the spot. Ask for an "EEA Permit" from the consular office of the Schengen country where you will spend the most time. EU law permits EU citizens and their spouses unfettered access to visit, work and/or study. And the spousal visas must be free and gratis.

Yes you need one. You just go to one of EU countries Embassy and apply for a SCHENGEN visa. This will allow you to travel freely to any of 27 EU countrys plus Switzerland. You need to get a schengen visa because UK hasnt signed the treaty of shengen and UK visa is valid only to UK. Hope helped, prefer the Greek Embassy in London, cause is giving visas more quickly
