Steps for American to Marry a Philippine Girl

I am in US and want to marry a girl in Philippines that I have known for a while and have already met in person a couple of times. Can someone who has done this give me the steps required? What do I need to do before I go back to Manila to get married? What do I need to do once I am in Manila? I think I will only be able to be there for three weeks so time will be tight and I want to make sure I am very well prepared to get everything done since time is limited. I know that after we are married I will need to apply for spousal visa and all of that so I'm OK with that part.

Present your birth certificate and other documents to secure a license to marry from the US Embassy in Manila and for the girl to secure her license to marry in the city or town hall where she resides. Present these licenses to a solemnizing officer for the wedding and you validly have a marriage.
