The name given to a fighter pilot who shoots down more than ten enemy planes?

They are called Aces and the highest is Major Richard I. Bong of the United States Air Force with 40 planes shot down is called the "Ace of Aces"

He was awarded the Medal of Honor.

It was on the History channel the other day. Any pilot that kills 5 enemy fighters is an ACE. 10 = a DOUBLE ACE. Etc.

I don't know if any one pilot has killed more than 2 or 3 aircraft during any single engagement, before running out of fuel. That's why becoming an ACE or better is so difficult.

That was about as much as I saw before changing channels. sorry couldn't be of more help.

Im not sure if such coining exists. I did a lot of research but could only find that this feat was never achieved, presuming you are referring to 10 planes in one mission/flight.

The closest was 9 in 90 minutes by Capt.David McCampbell and the link below says this record still holds good.

But there was no name per se I could find anywhere.

Please do correct me If Im wrong.
