This is confusing.....what am i to do?

my friend that i want to come from nepal to america has all the documents and everything to come here to america. he told me today that his embassy has lots of nepalese people trying to come here to america are in the thousands, so there would only be 3 or 4 people out of every 200 people they will choose. there's a very slim chance that he will not be able to get a visa. what am i to do? there's no other way to help my friend? i wrote the invitation letter for him already and he has the application to bring himself here to america. please help me anyone,someone thank you

I suggest writing to your representatives and seeing if they can help. We can't. (Don't dismiss the thought that his explanation could be an excuse. It happens.)

well ur friend must not lose his hope and keep on trying and trying and also u must pray to god for help.thats what u can do.Nothing else.Good Luck

It seems as if you are really in a pickle right now. I really do not know this field well enough to say, but just be patient and it should work out in time. (But it may not be the time you are wanting it to be)

I would try several things.

The first would to be to write your rep. They may be able to help you where others fail to.

Contact Immigration & Customs - see if you can't sponsor him to come over. This is a maybe at best.

If he has a job lined up over here - have the company contact Immigrations & Customs - they will have more pull.
