I will be living with a good friend in paris, which i have copies of their ID, home bills, and a letter signed saying its alright for me to live there.
Do you know if the employer just calls the D.D.T.E.F.P or the ANAEM or are they the same? What is the process, do they send my information in on a form to get approved by one of these organizations? Is it a form like an application or what? The employer hasnt really done this before.

The D.D.T.E.F.P is the initials for Direction Départementale du Travail, de l'Emploi et de la Formation Professionnelle, which is responsible for work and professional training regulation and authorization.
The AMAEM is medical examination it is a compulsory requirement for all foreigners admitted to reside in France for more than three months. It is more than just a mere medical examination as it is also an opportunity to provide individuals with information and to refer them for medical treatment, if necessary. All the information gathered during this examination is confidential and covered by medical secrecy
The examination itself includes :
a general clinical examination,
an X-ray of the lungs,
checking vaccination status, which must be compliant with applicable legislation in France, particularly for children.
Certain people may also be screened for diabetes by measuring capillary blood glucose level or a urine analysis if the doctor suspects certain disorders.
If the individual examined meets health requirements, the ANAEM doctor signs and gives them a medical certificate.
