UK Citizen to the USA?

My dear uncle has owned a pub in Oregon for 30 years now, what's the chances of me getting a full time job in the great land? (He's English btw and I've never asked him but we're close as we keep in touch) any ideas?

Not especially good unless you have a skill beyond bartending. If you want to come, either as an immigrant or on a temporary worker scheme you will either need a closer relation who is a US Citizen or qualify for a skilled position. They are very tight with immigration despite what a lot of people believe.

There is a 'green card lottery' where people from countries that have few immigrants can make an application and hope to get chosen but i'm sure the UK doesn't qualify.
