UK Marriage Visa what do I do about saving?

I heard my spouse and I would have to produce statement of saving in order to file for a UK Visa.. But We don't have any saving? If that's the case how much would we need to save ?

You can have zero pounds saved and still get a spousal visa. What is more important is if the UK citizen spouse has the income to sponsor their spouse. If the UK citizen spouse makes enough money to have 105 pounds left over each week, after bills and council tax..then that is sufficient.
If there are children involved..even if they are British...you need to add another 56 pounds a week for each child.
Please don't listen to other who don't know what they are talking about.


The only way you would need to have evidence of savings, is if the 2 of you are living in another country. The UK spouse does not want to go back to the UK alone, and find a job and a place to live. Being separated from their spouse. In a situation like this, it is often a good idea to have enough savings to show you can sponsor your spouse for 2 yrs. But if this is not your situation I would not worry about it.
