When an international visitor or tourist comes to Canada from country A visits lots of places of interest in Canada and decides to visit other places of interest in the Us before returning to his/her country of origin,would that fellow be allowed entry into the US from Canada?does one need a Canadian passport in other to cross from Canada into the US?Cant any non-Canadian enter the US possibly for tourism reasons?If yes that the fellow can visit the US also whiles in Canada,then what are the requirements and procedure needed to follow in order to be allowed entry into the US?Is it very difficult entering the US from Canada without a Canadian passport?Please educate me on this issue.

Entering the US from Canada when you are not a Canadian citizen is much like entering the US from any other border crossing - unless you fall under the Visa Waiver Program, you would need a visa.

You're talking about two different and sovereign nations. Though similar in many ways, entry to one does not guarantee entry to the other.

Admission to Canada does not guarantee admission to the USA nor vice versa.

It is no more difficult to enter the USA from Canada than from anywhere else. Many countries have visa-waiver privileges to the USA; many don't.

Remember that Canada and the USA are two different countries. That they are adjacent and both worth touring is irrelevant.

A visitor to Canada needs another visa to cross to USA.

1) you can't get a Canadian passport unless you are a Canadian citizen, so you can't get one if you are just visiting Canada and want to go to the US.

2) If you needed a visa to enter Canada, then you will need a separate one to visit the US. Only certain countries can go into the US without a visa.

3) you will need to have a passport from your home country.
