Ive been living in new zealand for more than 5 years now, and i have got a permanent residence visa. anyway, i still need to apply for a tourist us visa and i wanna go there feb 2009. i have only 3k so far as proof of funds for the whole trip I need at least 12k, which i am planning to fulfill by selling my car and working long *** hours. can i just tell the visa officer this? my visa interview is tomorrow, do you reckon he/she will understand that i dont want to sell my car yet coz im not sure if the visa will be approved and then not be able to go on the trip?

I would tell the visa officer exactly what your plan is. Hopefully they will understand that you need your car up until the time you leave. Good Luck, I hope you have a great time visiting the US. |
