USAID mailed me that I won visa lottery with winning No.all comunication do by e-mail can it be true??

I have received an E-mail from USAID he tell me that I won a US visa lottery with winning No.and tell me to veryfy through your contry's US Embassy and all communication he does through email not by post.What I should believe is right or fraud??

Everyone is correct - it is fraud/spam, but let me add this clarification: USAID has absolutely no connection to, and nothing to do with, the US Department of State Diversity Lottery program.

If someone says you won something,especially in a lotto. you probably would be notified by a rep. of the lotto commission, coming to you house! not by mail. It's a SCAM!

LOL I get Mails like that Daily.. All Fraud.. First they tell U that ur Selected.. Then they ask U to Gain that much price.. Just pay this much Money.. & Once u have Paid enough money They all Vanish.. So think with ur Brains.. Why wud anyone give u this Buttering offer..

These are called SPAMS. They will use ur greed and amazement and ask for ur credit card no. or bank account details, after that you will face the real blow on ur face. DO NOT EXPOSE TOO PERSONAL DETAILS ON THE NET.
Else if u have really played a US lottery then it is another game but always remember MONEY IS HARD TO EARN BUT EASY TO LOOSE.

Such mails are coming in hundreds. Dont take them serious. Be catious. They are nothing to do with US or USAID.....bogus.

I have no connection with USAID and know nothing about it. Looking at their web page makes me think there is something very fishy about this.
It seems you should be able to track this down.
If not on the web I'd go to the embassy and ask.
