Validity of UK Work Permit?

I am Indian Citizen.
I am holding UK Work Permit.
Date of Issue is 25th Feb, 2008.
I have not applied for VISA yet.
So Please tell me whether my Work Permit is still valid?
I mean at present can I apply for VISA now?

its normally valid for one year from the date of issue of your visa,get your visa first and you can calculate from that date onwards

Present your work permit when you will apply for a work visa. It is nonsense/useless then if you will stay in your country. If you are allowed to get your visum then you can freely seek jobs inthe UK. simple.

Hi,
its depend opon the employer who had provided you that work permit.
You need a letter from that employer that your work permit is still valed and still he got job offer for you.
as soon you get that letter then you can apply for your Visa,
But for yur information,

ork permit isint a garuntee for visa.
