Visa information for a filipina national?

I am a United States service member stationed in the United Kingdom. My fiance is a Filipino national. Can I apply her for a fiance visa for the UK and get married a justice of peace? or Can I apply her for a tourist visa and marry her in the UK and change her status? How long is the process for a Filipino to come to the UK on a fiance or tourist visa?

No. You're in the UK and a US fiancee visa would be totally useless. You are not a citizen of the UK so you can't apply for anything there.

What you can do is get married. If you are getting married in the Philippines you must comply with the requirements of the area commander for marriages in the Philippines (see your base legal department for info on marriages in the Philippines). After your marriage you will put your wife on your Page 2 at personnel and get her registered in DEERS. At that point you can run a request through your chain of command to get her command sponsorship.

You will almost certainly be required to extend your tour in the UK in order to get the command sponsorship approved. Once it's approved she'll be able to use it to enter the UK. Once in the UK your personnel office will get her a NATO SOFA Stamp for her passport. This allows her to live there with you as a dependent. It will also allow her to travel to other NATO countries without a visa.

Understand..... none of this will get her into the United States when it's time to come back. About 6 to 8 months before transferring back to the United States you'll need to file an immigration petition (I-130) with the US embassy in London. Once the petition is approved she'll be able to enter the United States as an immigrant.

If you file too late she will not be able to come back with you. She will not be able to wait in the UK either. Once you leave your command sponsorship ends and she can no longer stay. So, it's important to file on time.
