Don't count on them checking with you to see if you're information is legitimate, or asking you for any documents that they require.
My husband (he's African, I'm British) applied for his settlement visa to the UK last month, and, due to the fact there is very little published information, and nil to none published, accurate information, we didn't submit all relevant documents and his visa was simply refused. The visa section didn't bother to get in touch and give us a chance to submit the missing documents (which I had in my home, and could have gotten to them instantly), they simply issued a refusal. We now have the chance of appealing the decision (which can take up to a year) or re-applying (which will cost hundreds more. Nice, huh?!
Of course, a visitor visa isn't quite as complex. You will need to show proof of saving and/or proof of income. A payslip, P60 and/or bank statements will prove this.
Good luck. I don't know the nationality of the person you are sponsoring, but the UK Visa Service is notorious in some countries for arbitrarily refusing visas. |

I ONLY KNOW IF YOU ACTING AS SPONSER FOR VISIT VISA FOR SOMEONE FROM TURKEY;you have to supply 6months bank statements cannot be in reciept of state benifits or housing and counciltax benifits they require your tenancy agreement or morgage details and evidence of accomadation and if you have the funds to support this person during thier stay and they cannot work or recieve benifits of any kind hope that helped |
