Pretty much because they are ignorant and refuse to see the truth in front of them... Dubbya has gotten the US involved in not one, but 2 Vietnams (Afghanistan and Iraq), Spent most of his time in office trying to come up with ways to take over, occupy and rule the Middle East. His administration is looking to deprive Americans of thier basic civil liberties with the horrible piece of legislatre known as the Patriot Act. His brother Marvin was the head of Security at WTC on 9/11 which leads me to the conspiracy theory that the Bush admin was involved with to some degree with 9/11 (Yes I said it!!!!!). Carter had americans attacked over seas, but Bush let Americans be attacked on our own shores!!!!!!! |

I feel personally Jimmy Carter is a fine man in his private life. As president he was mediocre.
I compare George W. Bush with Franklin D. Roosevelt. The only two sitting President's that let our country be attacked by a foreign country.
I will probably will take a lot of flack for this but it is my opinion, and others are entitled to there's. |

I lived through his administration of gas lines when there was gas, many times no gas, 18% interest rate, pardoning the draft dodgers while spitting on American soldiers, let's not forget the Hostages in Iran. We have pretty good reasons for putting that inept turd bird at the bottom of the pile. |

1. Home loans were going for 16% during the Carter administration.
2. Money Market Funds were paying 20%.
3. Inflation was 12%.
4. Unemployment was 11%.
5. There were lines two and three bocks long at the gas stations.
6. Iran took over our embassy and held our diplomats for over a year.

Please rememebr that Pres. Carter was the first US President to have given American territory away. With the panama Canal, I belive he had no choice , yielding to international pressure. but why would he voluntarily give away several stragically located islands in the Pacific incluing Christams island, with vast fishing grounds and other resources to the then newly formed Republic of Kiribati? (pronounced Kiribas) |

Well... you shouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly it damages your credibility.
Worst Presidents:
1. James Buchanan - allowed the US Civil War to occur (bloodiest war in US history)
2. George W. Bush - In 6 years spent money equal to all the money the US spent in the previous 224 years, eradicated habeas corpus... the foundation of governments in the free world for the last 800 years, not to mention plenty of other things that are obvious
3. Ronald Reagan - created the national debt by spending like a drunken sorority girl at Nordstrom with daddy's credit card
4. Jimmy Carter - failed in Iran by befriending a tyrant, undermined electric bus transportation to pay off his debts to Detroit auto makers, inflation, oil embargoes... etc |
