You can not apply for a work visa. Only a qualified employer can petition for a work visa. Only after the qualified employer certifies to the US Dept of Labor, that they can NOT find a qualified US Citizen to take the job at the prevailing wage. The qualified employer, can when the next round of H1B visas are available, petition for you.
Living with your relatives is not allowed, as you would be an intended immigrate without a visa, and you would be refused entry under Section 212 of the INA. |
