the reason for the rejection r: 1) i come from a country with a great potential for immigration, due to its social and economic situation 2) the applicant is unmarried and has no children. 3)is not said to be engaged in regular employment or said to have property or financial commitments.thank u and hoping for an answer.

There is a right to appeal against a visa rejection in Norway.
The appeal must be made within 3 weeks at the Embassy who has rejected the visa application. The embassy may then either reveal its decision or send the appeal to the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration for final decision.
It would only make sense to appeal if you really have met all visa requirements. Norway is one of the most expensive countries. Whereas for Italy for example you need to proof availability of funds of 64,300p. for a 30-day tourist visa applied for at the Philippines embassy it would be 103,000p. for a Norwegian visa.
On the other site Norway is not acting on its own in regard to visa issues but also grants access to 23 other countries which adhere to the Schengen agreement. Although traveling has been eased it has become harder to get entry permission to the Schengen area especially when no ties to the own country are shown and the applicant is a citizen of a country which is known for an increased number of visa violations.

You cannot appeal the decision. You have no right to be issued a visa, and unless the decision was completely arbitrary (e.g. they rejected you because they don't like you hair color), you have no way to appeal this. The three reasons you mentioned are sufficient grounds to assume reasonable chance of illegal immigration, so unfortunately you will not be able to travel to Norway. |
