I'm applying now for J-1 Visa ,what is my chances knowing that I've applied for Visa Lottery Program but never get an interview appointment .

In theory, the two are unrelated- you *could* apply for a B-2, a J-1, an R or any other Non-Immigrant Visa and each would be considered on its own merit. However, having demonstrated your wish to live in the USA via the lottery, you should have some convincing proof that your ties to another country are, indeed, compelling. J visas normally require some input from an embassy/consulate, so that should help you. I'd suggest you present plenty of proof regarding your ties to a foreign country- employment or another economic reason to return is very good. Beyond that, you'll need to show that you have what the J-visa issuer is looking for. |
