Every US foreign mission is slightly unique, but in general, the Cultural Affairs Office is tasked with managing a broad range of activities promoting cultural (as well as professional and academic/scholastic) relations between the host country and the United States. The Cultural Affairs Office also promotes activities in traditional areas such as literature and the arts.
