What are the requirements to apply tourist visa going to china?


i have a boyfriend in china and he wants me to visit him there for only one month What are the requirements i need to get a visa to china?

You can download an application from the Chinese embassy and fill it out, send your passport and two pictures, along with the required fee to the embassy for processing. The best way to do it is to go to the embassy in person. it is much faster and actually less costly

China Tourist Visa Requirements

A valid passport with atleast six months validity remaining and atleast one blank visa page.
One visa application form, fully completed and signed.
1- passport type photograph.
Non-U.S. passport bearers should provide documents that entitle them to reside or work for an extended period of time in the U.S.
An applicant who was born in China is required to submit his /her Chinese passport or last foreign passport with a Chinese visa when he/she applies for a Chinese visa with a new foreign passport.
Proof of hotel reservation
Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary.
Applicants visiting friends and family should provide certificates of kingship

It's really easy. You need a valid passport (longer than 6 months left on it), two extra passport photos, an application form, and $130 (less if you are not American).

Go to the Chinese consulate or embassy nearest you, and apply in person (or hire an agency to do it for you - there's many!). It doesn't take long at all and the visa will let you stay in the country for 30 days (normally)
