I know about they offer fiance visa's to let your fiance enter the U.S... Unfortunately we dont hve time to wait for one to go to the U.S. because I have a family emergency, so he is going to enter on a tourist's visa. This visa also allows him to stay for 90 days. Once we're there though, I dont want to return to Italy because once we got the fiance visa we, more I, wanted to start our lives.. in America. I dont want to spend the money going back and forth because we just had our first baby. Anyhow, I know its possible to marry him even with him being there as a tourist but I was wondering if anyone knew which paper work he should bring with him - exactly what he'll need for the state? I went on the embassy website but I only found visa information. Does anyone know or have direct web links please let me know! Thank you! Additional Details I know that he cant just stay because he married me. I already know the steps I have to take after we marry.. I was just curious to the papers he needs to bring with him to be able to marry me.. Proof of identity, birth certificate.. things like that

if your in the US and you marry here you don't need to present fiance petition but your whole entire package i-130 and 485 etc...with all the filing fees instead of waiting for fiance petition, what you will be doing is changing his visa from tourist to Permanent Resident. Now, you must find out that if you start this process wether or not he can travel out of the Country. |

if he is an Italian citizen? he does NOT need a visa,unless he does not have the right passport;
he cannot just come and marry you and stay, there are some procedures to comply with.
and? you will have to have time, no way around it...
