What does she need to invite her parents from China to Canada?

My Chinese collegue wants to invite( immigrate) her parents to Canada. She is immirant. But her parents even couldn't come as tourists because Canada said NO. What do they need to immigrate? Somebody told me they need to have a lot of money and is it right?

The only thing she can do is to apply a visitor's visa for her parents. As she is not the citizen yet, she is eligible for filing immigration petition for them. Whether visitor's visa application can be approved or not is not hard to predict; the consulate in China has sole power to make the decision. Certain, it is fundamental for a sponsor to have sufficient funds in order to invite his/her relatives to visit Canada.

If the parents were denied a visitors visa, there must be some compelling reason. You must first find out this reason before seeking different avenues. As a permanent resident in Canada, your friend can petition her parents BUT first find out why they were denied the first time.

Also, you cannot buy an immigration visa.
