What happens to a 6 year visa in your passport when your passport expires say in 2 months time?

Do I lose my visa when I renew the passport? I'm sure they can't tear the visa out and stick it into the new passport?!

It happened to me once all they will do is renew your passport and mention that u have a valid visa in your previous booklet and u have to keep attached your old passport with your new passport booklet .

I'm afraid you are not able to use your VISA if your passport isn't valid.

when you renew a passport you don't necessarily get a new one. you just a get new stamps for a valid time period. if you have too. as long as your passport has a room for new stamps u r safe. Or the the second answer is also another option.
