I am 25 years old and plan to marry an old man aged 66. Is the american embassy/ the console will give me a visa as his wife? Is American government honor the marriage here in the Philippines? Do they give me a chance to have the visa easily?

It normally takes from six months to one year to process the visa. Due to the age difference the embassy will suspect fraud. So you can expect a long, long wait while every aspect of the relationship is investigated.
During your interview, when you tell the Consular Officer you are getting married because you love this guy, try not to laugh. |

If you plan on marrying in the Philippines, you will need to file for a K-3 spouse visa, which takes about a year or so to be processed, especially for the Philippines as it is considered a high visa fraud country.
The differences in your ages will be a huge obstacle to overcome, it one of the signs of marriage fraud that they look for. The visa will not be issued easily and will take longer than most to be issued because of the extra scrutiny your petition will go under.
If you truly love this man and want to marry him for other more pure reasons than just a greencard to the US, your evidence of a bonafide relationship will have to be very, very, VERY strong. |

I would have to say that I agree with the others. I think you should get a job, save some money, get a car, then work on finding someone to marry within your own country. Marriage is a very serious step. It is a commitment. Marry just to obtain a Visa is wrong. It isn't fair to you, your spouse, your country or our country. |
