I am Thai living in Denmark. My son 7 y.o. have both Danish and Thai passport, but what passport should I use when we go Thailand for holiday. If he use the thai passport, then - when we return he have no visa for Denmark as I have in my thai passport.
Additional Details
I mean they stamp in the passport when leave Denmark, but do they stamp in both ? If they not stamp in both, then one stamp will be missing when use it for enter Thailand. Or am I wrong here.

use thai when you go to thai and use danish when you go to denmark. my friend does the same thing. she has dual citizenships, its not at all uncommon. (2 passports) its just a sort of thing you wanna keep low key about, you know what i mean? |

Why can't he go to Thailand on his Thai passport and return to Denmark on his Danish one? I have two passports and I don't have to necessarily travel on the same one on the same trip. I leave and enter countries with whichever passport gets me in quicker and easier.
In the US, it's required that an American enter on an American passport if they are a dual citizen. Maybe Thailand or Denmark have a rule like that. |

I'm not sure I understand your point. You are asking which passport to use for self, right? Since you have only Thai passport, you use that. And you already have Danish visa with you, therefore it's not a problem to return back.
As for your son, since he has both passports, when entering Thailand, use the Thai passport, and when entering Denmark, use the Danish passport.

A tricky question. I suggest you go to your Thai embassy and discuss it with them. One alternative I can think of is to bring BOTH passports. If one is problematic, visa-wise, then the other one can be used. (As he holds dual nationality, it would help a lot)
