Try and prove that you need to be there in order to do it, and that you can afford to support yourself when you are out there. They normally require a minimum monthly amount in your bank account and may ask for your bank statements to prove it. This is what I had to do to get my visa to study in Canada. Contact the American embassy and see what they say. You may also need to get your passport adjusted to conform to their regulations and go through additonal security checks either end |

If you're not rich, save up enough money to buy forged documents that prove you ARE rich.
You will never get a visa if you are not rich, but if you look, talk, and dress rich, then you will walk in and out of the Consulate.
The only friends of mine from other countries that have ever been allowed to come visit me after 9/11 are all rich. |
