What should i do?

i applied for a schengen visa. my only problem is my birth certificate. my BC includes the date of marriage of my parents in hong kong but they aren't married. they said( the embassy and the local municipality) that we will be needing the help of a lawyer which will cost us a lot. the lawyer said that we will need to get a certificate of no-marriage in hong kong. im at philippines, what should i do? do we still need the help of a lawyer?

you could stay where you are and dont go anywhere if you should have visa to go there....i think that it is simple as it is...
