What would happen if i was late for an appointment at the US Embassy in London?

Say if my train was delayed and i was a bit late would they just refuse to see me?

Hopefully it won't be but just wanted to check.

I went for a visa interview there. They see so many people that they are unlikely to look kindly on you if you are late.
My advice - go the night before and stay in a hotel if you are worried.
They are VERY bureaucratic and anal. Any hint of you causing problems will probably mean they will refuse to book you another appointment or just reject your visa completely.

If you are late then you lose the appointment no matter what my advice leave with loads of time rather get the and wait around then miss the appointment. Good luck on the day
