When Palin said living next to Russia gives her foreign affairs?

experience, does that mean that those in Texas or Florida have foreign affairs experience with Cuba and Mexico?
The college had to do a little checking up on that, if I am wrong please site the case. To date there is no record of her ever meeting with Russian leaders to work out a plan on anything. Someone should give her a map. Florida is closer to Cuba than Alaska is to Russia.
Many people in Florida have visited Cuba, their is no record of her visiting Russia. She did not until now even have a pass port. So how was she keeping in contact with Russian leaders?
This is a serious question, she could be the next leader of our country.
Was this answer deceptive? Did it sound to you like she was trying to convince the public of something she actually didn't do?
When Bush went into office we did not know until now what kind of a president he would be, but on some issues he was deceptive to the public. Do you want someone else who is deceptive or trys to be to the public?

Obama may not have a lot of experience but like you said Joe Biden does and Obama unlike our other leaders does listen to others.
But I cannot imagine what help Palin would ever be to McCain.
It was a rash move that is so typical of McCain.
He had to find a women to get votes from Hilary Clinton but most people looking back on the good old Clinton years was voting her in to get Bill Clinton. Most men have enough brains not to vote a women into a leadership role over the country. But this women is way out there. She did tell Katy Couric in an interview that living next to Russia gave her foreign affairs experience I remember it well and was shocked. So she did say that.

And you don't think Obama is deceptive? Explain to me how only working in the Senate for 134 days out of TWO years gives him foreign policy experience. Not one of the few bills he signed on to required him to negotiate or meet with one single foreign diplomat or leader. Not one! How is Gov. Palin's lack of experience in foreign affairs any different that Obama's? You can't use that and say she could be the next leader of our country and then discount the fact that Obama has no experience either, after all he IS running to be the President.

When you live so close to another nations borders, there are many things that get discussed between the two nations. One is territorial fishing rights, and passage, and shipments of imports, so I believe she has some experience with officials of that nation.
