Some do. But most do not.
They act the same as most non-racist whites in America's south during the worst of black oppression.
They act the same as most Christians in Germany during the 1930s and 40s.
It's a lot harder to stand up for what is right when what is wrong will kill you or your family. |

In some places, it could be dangerous for them to condemn Muslims who kill infidels.
In places where it's not dangerous, I suspect that peer pressure within the Muslim community prevents it.
Finally, some Muslims do condemn extremists but that doesn't make for interesting TV so we don't see it. |

most heroes are dead. better to live and change something.
also in the USA we have very filtered news and don't get the full reports.
check with international news. BBC is one, to hear more of whats really going on out there. |

It could be that the moderates tend to believe this terrorist claim that the Islamic religion demands that all other religions are infidels and should either be converted or killed. It could be that the moderates are intimidated by the terrorists and fear for their and their family's safety. It could be that they do not get upset about other races or religions misfortunes. |

They do...it just isn't as good of a story as a bombing in the media...remember the media is MOST peoples only source of news...and they capitalize on loss of life and the extreme..not on every day events and speeches. |
