if I have an interview appointment in the US embassy in syria for DV lottery visa ,they told me it will take 2-5 days after the interview to issue the visa if the case is aproved,the question is when will i know my case is approved,is it at the appointment date or later?

You should know at the time of the interview if they intend to approve it or not. There may be some addtional processing. If they don't intend to approve it, they are required to tell you that. If they think you aren't qualified based on your educational background, they'll tell you, or if they think your education papers aren't legitimate, you'll certainly know that as well. Sometimes a case is put on hold for addtional documentation, but if that happens, they'll tell you what more is needed. |
