If your local post office offers passport service, good. If not, you may approach the passport issuing agency nearest to your city. Or better still, you may inquire at your local post office which nearest post office offers passport service.

Embassies are never located in their own country but outside to help citizen whilst overseas.

As for the passport go to your nearest Post office or to the link of passports at this page :
