Why would you want to call him back. India is very fortunate to have a straight talking ambassador. Speaking directly gets things accomplished. Government hacks who use bureaucratic jargon accomplish nothing, they use language to obscure the meaning of the subject instead of for communication. Other than making you feel good they do nothing.

Indian Ambassador should not be called back. A kick in the backside for the wasters in India should be rewarded. At least he knew what he was talking about. He wants the best for India and joining hands with the USA on the nuclear deal is no more than perfect sense. I want an India safe and secure for future generations. The Left party are here to ensure India spirals back to the dark ages and that their beloved China emerges as the super power.

An Indian Ambassador can be called back if his action is detrimental to the interest of the people of India and outside the frame work of his code of conduct and service rules.

If he lies ( says untruths), he would be deemed to have done his duty by the country.If he is naive enough to call a spade a
spade and not cover up his conclusion with sweeteners, he would be damned. In his over anxiety not to let US mistake India as regards the nuclear deal hepraised the PM and President of US.Then he made the 'faux pause' and declared that critics of the deal as "headless chicken"!Naturally the honourable members of the parliament got angry.They in turn demanded his return.An ambassador cannot identify himself as the snake round the neck of Siva and challenge the garuda!Each one must respect the other.More so the diplomat.

The Indian Ambassador in U.S. need not be called back but he should be made to know that his remarks on Indian Parliamentarians and media were in bad taste.As an ambassador he is expected to be more polite and ethical in his actions.
