Its not about countries Having dual citizenship,
it is about do they allow it.... many (even in the EU do not, italy, Germany for example)

Some allow it if born into it,
some force you to choose at 18/21 years old
Some never allow it.. (china for example)

Unfortuneatly you choose one of the latter cases.
India is one that does not allow dual citizenship by choice.
Its indian citizenship or someone elses (if you can earn it).

others are covered here in Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_citizenship

There is another list here
http://www.multiplecitizenship.com/worldsummary.html
"India:
LOSS OF CITIZENSHIP:

VOLUNTARY: Voluntary renunciation of Indian citizenship is permitted by law. Contact the Embassy for details and required paperwork.

INVOLUNTARY: The following are grounds for involuntary loss of Indian citizenship: Person voluntarily acquires a foreign citizenship. Naturalized citizenship was acquired through false statements. Naturalized citizen commits acts against the state of India before the end of a five-year grace period."

Countries don't "have" it, they either allow it or not for their own citizens. You will be a dual citizen if you are a citizen of one country under its laws and, at the same time, a citizen of another country under its laws, and they both allow it. India is one of those that doesn't allow it at all and so an Indian citizen can never be a dual citizen of anywhere.

There are 193 sovereign countries in the world so there is not enough space here to list them all with whether they allow dual citizenship or not. It's also not as simple as Yes or No - Germany, for example, basically does not allow dual citizenship for German citizens but makes an exception for citizens of other countries in the European Union.

The best resource on this is http://www.multiplecitizenship.com/worldsummary.html , where you can look up the position for any country you like.
