is there anyone i can email or speak about being fined abroad? i was fined in Belgium for Jay-walking for 150 euros which is the same in pounds sterling.
Still havent got the fine, idk if he was even being serious, who can i speak to?

unfortunately maca its alot of money for me (only 18) so if i forget it and a 150 pound bill turns up at my door..

I'm confused - what is your problem with this? If you haven't received the fine then surely that's giving you time to save up for when the fine does turn up.
If they try to charge you extra for not paying it, you need to state that you haven't received the fine and you are not going to pay the extra.
Otherwise, I agree with Maca. Forget it until the fine turns up.
I personally doubt that they will chase you for it - lets face it, it's going to cost them more to post the fine to you, make sure that you have received it, then send somebody to serve you the fine, then make sure that you pay it, if you don't serve you with a summons etc and that's assuming you're not going to argue the fine.
If you do want to do something about it, contact the embassy based in England and talk to them. They will be able to point you into the right direction.

forget it my friend, they are not going to chase you for a couple of bob, the person who issued you the ticket,if he she did is probably a rookie,the others will be laughing at that person. i have had traffic violation fines from countries other than the uk, and i have never been chased for them. have a good life you hardened criminal lol |
