I know it's part of their religion to grow out a beard but seriously, is it against their religion to maybe wear more than a bathrobe? How can you lead a jihad when you can't even wear regular pants?
And that unkempt look on them is very unflattering. I feel like they'd be more suited to panning for gold in some Northern California creek than trying to show the infidels the errors of their ways. I might be more prone to listen to them if they actually looked scary, and not sickly.
Does anyone know why they look like crazy gold miners?

I have no idea what you're talking about with miners. Miners wear helmets with lights and have dirt all over them.
Most of these terrorists are extremely right-wing "Wahabi" muslims. Orthodox muslims do usually wear some sort of headdres and a long shirt, although the average muslim dresses more casually.
