because i need to get married abroad,so i need all my papers authenticated by the DFA manila.

I know some1 from DFA, so here's what I gathered: DFA needs your annulment papers authenticated by the Supreme Court in order for them to authenticate it... just like the registered birth certificate or BC, it should be authenticated first by NSO or National Statistics Office. Annulment papers are issued by the courts, Supreme Court is the authorize issuing office for authenticated annulment papers & the like, just like the NSO, it is the authorized issuing office for authenticated birth records.
You should be thankful because DFA had already dropped the Malacañang authentication, you can now get your papers much faster than before. |

if the Philippines supreme court asked you to get this authenticated paper? it is because too many people get married while still married to someone else in another country already, and some fake documents are often produced instead of the real annulment , birth certificate and other documents of such. |
