Why does North Korea want so much attention?

In all honesty, the only reason they want to develop the missile technology to be able to threaten all of eastern Asia and even the western United States is that they are nothing without it. You have to understand, North Korea is a third world nation led by a lunatic who has brain-washed his people into thinking that their nation is paradise while every nation outside of northern Korea is enduring the apocalypse. I'm deadly serious here. If North Korea had no nuclear ambitions or the missile technology to threaten other nations, they would not in the spotlight, and for an egotistical psychopath like Kim Jong-Il, that's a major problem. North Korea doesn't need any military action, as some generals are proposing. All North Korea needs is an anti-propaganda war which shows what the entire world is really like, and especially South Korea. When the North Korean people know what the world their dictatorship has forced into an apocalyptic light is actually like, the people will revolt and free themselves. No military action is needed.

It's a plot. They wouldn't have launched anything without China and Russia's backing. You see the soft stance these two veto power countries took in UN discussions. This is because they new before the missles were launched. They are all testing the waters to see what they can get away with. Do you think N.Korea would say sanctions would indicate a declaration of war if they had no backing. China is N.Koreas closest ally. China communist country, N.Korea also communist, Russia formerly communist and still has communist tendencies.
