Don't they realize it will come back on them one way or the other? I mean before I woke to be vegan, I did not see clearly myself...good thing I was not running for public office back then. It is MURDER. Even if the guy is "guilty as sin" as they would say, it is still wrong... but consider the possibility that you have the wrong guy.
My heart goes out to any VICTIM on any side of the issue...there is the person who was raped, there is the rapist who was executed, there is the executioner who FEELS BAD LATER because he realizes he did the WRONG THING.

The death penalty is WRONG, I hope something happens to these people who believe in the death penalty to make them realize it is wrong. If I ever lost a child to a murderer and I went out on some "vendetta" and murderered the "murderer" well it would make me a murderer, if what I was doing was out side teh lines of defense, I hope you see what I am saying...I am not saying I would not want to commit murder, but what I mean is that would be what it is. Do you understand? Something BAD woudl happen to me if I murder, even a murderer, karmically speaking... once again realize that if you are a cop like they show in the movies and the only way you can bring in the bad guy is to kill him well that is NOT MURDER, but please realize DEFINITIONS here people...obviously some people are confused what teh difference between murder(violence) and "killing in the name of defense" is.
The death penalty is wrong, just as "spanking a child" is wrong, cappish.

I am against the death penalty, but not because it is wrong. If someone were to molest my niece or nephew, I would have no problem killing the son of a b*tch myself. I see nothing wrong with it. However, I do not want to give the government the right to decide who should live and who should die. It starts with criminals, but sooner or later, it advances from that to other areas of society. |

it's not wrong...in many cases it is just...and in some cases where the victim doesn't die in as nice of a manner as their murderer, it is more lenient than true justice

I think the death penalty is more or less merciful to the criminal and not the victim! Now living in a country that uses the death penalty i can tell you the crime rate here is close to zero when compared to the US |

That is just you opinion. I believe that if the person is found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt they should die (in certain cases). If you take another life or scar a child you should die. That person should not live and be given a chance to commit another crime. Don't even give me the "lock them up for life" B.S. We all know that it doesn't always work that way. The average murderer only does 8 years and first time molesters usually don't see a jail cell. Say what you want about it being wrong and forgiving, and on paper you look holier than me, but loose a child to a monster then we can talk. |
